Before I watched The Secret I was really depressed because all my peers and I graduated high school and I decided go back for another year to do post grad studies to go to university. I had practically no friends, and some of the friends that I had are in “The Bad Crowd”, and I didn’t want to be a part of that because of stabbings. I always sat by myself at lunch reading, and it just got me more depressed.

The “Prep/Jock” group at school is the only group of people who have the same interests in sports like I do, and they never hung around with me. I was talking to my brother about how depressed I was and that I was never going to be accepted into the group. Ryan gave me The Secret. So I went home and I watched it and it made me really happy.

After watching the movie I decided to use the Secret, and I imagined that I was partying with the jocks and the popular guys that I wanted to be friends with.

A couple of weeks after what I wanted didn’t happen, I got upset and I didn’t know if the Secret was real. So I watched it again to get my hopes up, and after watching it I got a phone call from an old friend and he invited me to hang out with him and the group that he hangs around with – which is not the kind of group I wanted to hang around with because of the drugs they do. They never hang around with the jocks or the preps.

I decided to hang out with them because I had nothing else to do, so I got there and I had a few drinks. One of them is dating a prep, and she said that there was a birthday party and asked if I wanted to come, and I said yes.

I got to the party and there were only a few people there – and not the people I wanted to be with were there. The friends who don’t really like the preps and jocks decided to leave and I decided to stay. A few hours later the guys that I really wanted to party with showed up, and they were treating me like I was the king or something, and I felt really popular. I realized that this was because of the Secret. What were the chances that the exact people I wanted to be around were there? It gave me goose bumps.

When I first learned of The Secret I was a bit skeptical because I am the science kind of person, and although I know that there is science in the movie I didn’t really believe it. But I decided to use the Secret to see if it really worked, and WOW was I wrong – it worked just like I imagined it.

The Secret changed my life.
