I would like to thank the whole team of The Secret for sharing the biggest secret with all of us in the simplest way there can be. Also, I would like to thank all who shared their stories here, they motivate others and say ‘Hey, don’t give up, if we can do it so can you.’ Thank you, thank you, thank you so much.

The Secret was introduced to me by my professor in 2012 when I was doing my MBA. From that very special day that I started to use it, it has improved almost all areas of my life. I practiced The Magic also, the second gem that The Secret team gave us.

I came to New Zealand in 2016 after marriage. I started with a retail job that had no connection with my MBA though I was happy, thinking that I was doing something. After some time, I decided to find a job in the finance industry and leave my current job. Soon after that I realized that it was not that easy. All thanks to my husband, I keep myself focused on knowing that it would happen.

One fine day I decided to put all normal procedures aside and to start using The Magical practice. A list of 10 things that I am really grateful for and in which I always add “I am so grateful that I am working in X company with helpful peers and motivating leaders.” And then I close my eyes and see myself happily working there and I really feel that.

Then 3 days later I received a call from an unknown number. Before answering it, I said “Thank you, thank you, thank you for the magnificent outcome from this call” and I literally felt the gratitude that I was giving. And guess what?! The call was from the same company that had called me when I applied there before, and they invited me for an interview. Now it has been 4 months and I am working in this same company which is very well known in the financial industry.

After getting my job with a good package, I and my husband started looking for our first home. We had our ups and downs as we were starting with a smaller deposit to use compared to others. However, the bank gave us a preapproval which is not common around here. We went for a viewing one fine day and as soon as I entered that house I felt so positive about it. I told my husband that I wanted this house. Soon we placed an offer but the vendor rejected it saying that he wants 40k more, and of course, we could not afford it. But I did not lose any hope because that was at the time that I had started with The Magic practice again. I made a picture. I took a photo of a house and edited it by writing in a big, bold, red colour SOLD to …. me and my husband’s name. Every time I looked at it I felt that I was living there. I close my eyes and used all my sense to visualize. I visualized that I was opening the door to my house and getting a vanilla smell. I am doing my laundry there, studying there and I also visualized that we had organized a housewarming and how everyone was chilling there.

Then two days later we received a phone call from our agent saying that he was going to talk with vendor again. And yes, the vendor agreed to reduce the price by 25k! Now we are in agreement and are just waiting for some reports to come but I know that all the reports will be fine and we will be moving there soon.

To everywhen here reading this story, stop focusing on negative things. Start looking for the things that make you happy. Lots and lots of Magic Dust on all of you.
