Hello all you wonderful people!

Before I write down my superb experiences with the Law of Attraction, I would like to thank Rhonda Byrne for bringing a beautiful gift in the form of The Secret to this world, and my friend who introduced me to this gift, at a time when I needed it the most.

I was in my final year of graduation when I was first introduced to this world of magic. I was extremely nervous about my career, had constantly dropping grades, didn’t keep very healthy physically and was utterly depressed because of my love for a guy for whom I was “just-a-friend”. Even though I was living a good life with some of the nicest people around me, I kept thinking in my head about the worst things in my life and kept myself depressed and sad.

After reading the books, The Secret, The Magic and The Power and watching The Secret movie many a time, I decided to make a conscious effort every minute of my life to think only positive and grateful thoughts, and block out all negative thoughts from my mind. I followed the instructions of The Magic like one would follow the holy book! Within a span of a week, I was a different person, even though nothing much changed around me physically, I had stopped feeling sad and depressed about the things which I did not have, and was extremely grateful and happy for the ones I did. Like a reflex, I started feeling grateful for every single person and thing around me, and that gave me a deep sense of relaxation, peace and calmness.

I had not done very well in my graduation and had decided to take a year to study for my entrance exams for the Post Graduate course. I pasted a picture of my dream university in front of my study table and visualized myself studying there. This process itself gave me a sense of relief and motivated me to study harder. Also, I used to envision myself having a life partner who would be extremely caring, loving and supportive of me. I was no longer sad for the person whom I used to like earlier, in fact, he still stayed a friend, but it stopped bothering me that he did not love me.

They say in The Secret book that if you do not achieve something that you wish for, it is because Universe has something better planned for you. And guess what??

It absolutely did!!! I got entrance into a university, not the one I was preparing for but the best university in the country in my field of study, without having to waste one year and without any formal entrance exam!! I just applied there and I was granted admission because of my former records! I had no words. I was on cloud 9!!!

So I enrolled there. I loved every second of my life in that university. As if this wasn’t enough, it seemed like someone up there was extremely happy with me. I happened to find my soul-mate in that very university, as my classmate! A person who started meaning the whole Universe to me in just a few months! My joy had no limits.

Years passed by and the course came to an end. At farewell, I was devastated, although both I and my love had landed in good jobs, we were at far-off places! We moved to our respective cities and started working. We were still together, kept calling each other and reassuring ourselves; but I had no idea how I was going to live without seeing him for so long! I used to cry myself to sleep every single night! My boss at work was extremely short tempered and had zero tolerance for even minor errors. Life had suddenly gone from being “absolutely rocking” to “severely depressing”.

I couldn’t understand what had gone wrong; why life was unfolding this way. And then the answer came to me from a small voice inside me; “Thoughts become things!” Of course! I had always dreaded the moment of separation from my love during my university days! I was always afraid of working in a corporate firm, with strict rules and stringent bosses!

I again started following the Law of Attraction principles, very religiously. Then the next few months seemed like another turning point in my life.

After a year of trying to get a job in my city of residence, my love received a phone call from a company, not for an inquiry, not for an interview, but for a job offer, with an attached offer letter, and with thrice the amount of salary which he was earning earlier! It goes without saying, it was in the same city as mine!!!

My eyes swelled up with tears on reading that mail. I was left speechless at the precision of every single word of The Secret book! This was the best gift I’d ever received in my entire life! My love moved into my city and we see each other every single day now! My relationship with my boss has improved drastically. I’m enjoying my work more than ever now.
