Loving yourself For The First Time
Submitted by: Anne
Malta (Europe)I am 47 years old.
I was not entirely surprised when I read The Secret because I could immediately relate to some of my own life experiences, which had already showed me that what I visualized, actually materialized. When I read the book however, I was surprised by the degree of accuracy by which the desires actually manifest.
A year ago, my partner of many years, left unexpectedly. Immediately I decided that I didn’t want to take the road to depression, negativity and sadness but the one of joy, because I know that depression and sadness are disabling and such a waste of life. I knew life is beautiful.
So I set out on this journey to find out how I could be happy and you can not imagine the things I discovered. They are the greatest gift I could ever have. Rumi said: As you start to walk out on the way, the way appears.
And it does!
I spend time alone happily getting to know myself and I have discovered the beauty, wonder and magnificence of my soul. I experienced how my soul guides me. It is infinitely intelligent and I discovered that I have everything I need to be happy. I became a better and happier person.
“To love yourself fully, you must focus on a new dimension of You. You must focus on the presence inside of You. That presence is the perfection of You. That presence is the real You. As you focus on that presence, as you feel, love, and praise that presence, you will love yourself fully, quite possibly for the first time in your life.” The Secret, page 173.
As I continue this wonderful journey, I feel embraced by the love of the universe.
Some people accept humiliation, victimization, violence, abuse, betrayal and deceit, despite the horrific and life threatening consequences these atrocities have. If they visualize the end of this, it would indeed be the end. If they believe that this has to stop, they will get away from it, no matter how hard this is. One of my greatest desires is for this consciousness to happen worldwide. I believe it will happen.
A very big thanks to Rhonda and all, for sharing all the wisdom that saves people.
I am infinitely grateful.
