Loving Myself And Life!
I watched The Secret movie on Sunday morning on Netflix, even though it had been on my list for weeks. And it completely changed my perspective. On everything! Let me share how.
So a few weeks ago, I found out that I had been cheated on by someone I had loved. Being broken was an understatement. I cried for weeks and oscillated between emotions. A part of me wanted to get out of this negativity but I just didn’t know ‘how’.
On Sunday, I watched The Secret movie and it was like a whole new door opened. I didn’t even know that I had a choice! A choice, right at this minute, sitting where I am, to change the course of my life.
Something fell into place and I downloaded The Secret Super App. I listed my desires for my life then went on Pinterest to add pictures to my vision board.
The Secret apps are an amazing way to practice gratitude and reading affirmations is more powerful than one might realize. It just changes your frequency, no matter what you might be feeling.
And here’s a small thing that happened today, although it’s just been a few days since I started applying The Secret. My birthday is tomorrow and I had been going on about wanting cupcakes. But no one at home was comfortable with outside food, courtesy of the lockdown, and I was way too lazy to bake.
Then we realized that it would just be easier to bake a cake because we already had our recipe, so I let go of the ‘need’ and just felt happy that I would have a cake to cut at midnight.
My mom, to my surprise, baked for my birthday. And as luck would have it, she tried a new recipe that was better suited for cupcakes. So instead of the usual 6 cupcakes that I get every year, I am now getting a dozen! In addition to that, I actually received unexpected money! Can you believe it? Thank you, thank you, thank you!
It’s like the Universe was always there to help me. Happy birthday to me! And thank you so much for making The Secret movie. It has been the best birthday gift I could have received and one that is so powerful. It will stay with me for years to come.
Thank you and love to all!
