Love, Happiness, Magic!

Central MassachusettsI used to be in the corporate world. Now I am an artist/farmer, caring for my aging parents, rescuing animals, and enjoying life.
I am a mostly normal farmer. I just happen to have some eccentric beliefs that are based in science and nature, and an auspicious birthday, so some call me a witch. I have a college background in art, math and health, and a natural aptitude for working with plants and animals. But that isn’t quite how I got to where I am now, even though my Chemistry 101 class gave me a new spirituality!
I had an average life, worked in an office, got married, started my own firm, bought a house. Things were going well toward the American Dream until the recession hit my life very hard, and I lost everything I just mentioned above and I became bitter. And I then lost my best friend, my horse. I was devastated, depressed, newly single and broke. I thought I was on my own. I was so wrong!
I read The Secret which I had heard so much about. I discovered the amazing power of love, all kinds of love and happiness. Friends were there to support me. Even the smallest good gesture was such a huge positive moment in my life, that it helped me on my road to recovery. I noticed I felt better every time I read a card or text from a friend.
Then something serendipitous happened. I learned that making others feel better made me even feel better. And the better I felt, the easier it seemed to get back on my feet. So I made more soaps, lotions and art, people bought them and loved them and I felt even happier! I remembered what I learned in Chemistry, that everything is energy. It is all connected. When I put love and happiness out into the world, I received more love and happiness back. It was magic!
So here I am, making wonderful things full of love and happiness. I use the magic of nature and the magic of happiness to create natural products and artwork to send love and happiness out into the world.
It sounds corny, doesn’t it? But it works, if you believe. And if you believe, everything is possible, even being the wicked good witch of Metrowest.
