I listened to my mom’s audiobook of The Secret a little over a year ago and was completely absorbed by the simple concept of the law of attraction. I was so mesmerized that I had purchased my own copy a week later, which I put on my i-pod so I could listen to it wherever I went.

I had just gotten out of a relationship with someone that I knew was not meant for me and took the advice of The Secret about writing a list of all the qualities you want in the person of your dreams. After writing the list and releasing my wish to the universe, believing that my perfect guy was out there, just two weeks later he appeared in my life! He had every single characteristic I listed on the paper. The funny thing is that he told me later that he had always held an image in his mind of finding someone exactly like me as well. He had used The Secret without even knowing it. That was almost a year ago and things are going wonderfully between us :).

I have attracted other wonderful things into my life as well. The job I had been wanting for the last couple of years contacted me a month after I put the intention for it out into the universe. Whenever I needed money for expenses that I had no idea how I was going to pay for, I put intentions and belief that the money would come and it has every time. My boyfriend and I were even able to go on vacation at the end of the summer because we received all the money we needed from the universe. Now I always feel secure in paying for my expenses whereas in the past I used to worry about money all the time thus perpetuating my lack of it.

Over the last few months I fell out of using The Secret as much because I became pre-occupied with finishing up my last semester of college, but now that I have graduated I have fallen back into using the law of attraction every single day and wonderful things and people find me everywhere. A couple of days ago I won $100 dollars from my favorite radio station, which also qualified me for winning the grand prize of dinner, a show, and a night in a very nice resort in Atlanta. I am putting the intention out for winning that prize as well.

I know more wonderful things are on the way to my life right now. Believe it! The law of attraction absolutely works!!
