IndiaA changed girl after reading The Secret.
So, my story begins like this:
I was a teen with a middle-class family and really bad parents. I was an average student. I really wanted a life like my friends. I wasn’t allowed to talk on the phone, even with my girlfriends, to go on class trips, to participate in school dance competitions, to talk with guys, or to wear fancy clothes. Life was miserable. My friends would pity me. They would tell stories when they were back from trips, and all I could do was hide my tears. I wanted to be free spirited. I never asked for anything more. I just wanted to be independent.
One day, while spending my usually boring vacation at my uncle’s place, I came across a pile of books, and books are my besties. But the one that attracted me was The Secret. The name itself sounded mysterious and assuring at the same time, so I decided to give it a try. I still remember the newness and the joy I found when I first completed reading it.
I followed the book, and today, I’m a whole new person. I tutor kids, earn money, travel to places, wear what I want, and express my gratitude. I am confident, a class topper, have the courage to try adventures and have someone whom I love more than my life, and he loves me the same way.
All thanks to Rhonda Byrne.
I still reread The Secret every time I get a chance. Thank God and the Universe. I love my life more than ever.
