Salem WI USAMastering the LOA.
In the summer of 2011, I was off work on medical leave (that is another miraculous story that I shared earlier). One of the goals I set for myself while I was off was to work on the book I had started writing. I had it saved on a flash drive. When I went to work on it though, I could not find that flash drive anywhere – and believe me I looked for it. Even stopped by my office and checked my desk to see if I had somehow left it there, but it was nowhere to be found.
At first I was really frustrated because I had set a goal and was trying to follow through with it. Then I remembered to put the LOA to work for me and when I did I knew that the flash drive would show up at the perfect time. When it didn’t show up within a few weeks I began to doubt, but then reminded myself that the Universe will deliver when the time was right. Like most people other things took my attention and I accomplished some other goals instead.
Fast forward about a year to June 2012. I decide to clean some things off of a closet shelf that I was no longer using including an old handbag. Of course I looked through the handbag to make sure I didn’t have anything in it and (you guessed it!) there was my flash drive. The thing is, I had checked that handbag at least twice the summer before when I was looking for the drive. I can only assume that either fairies had played a trick on me or the Universe had hid it from my sight.
Either way, the point is that had I continued on with the book last summer, I would have ended up re-writing a large portion of it because of the personal growth I have had over the last year. So the Universe had actually delivered it back to me with perfect timing. This is the kind of miraculous occurrences that happen when I let the LOA work for me rather than trying to push the flow of life.
As an aside, the biggest “lesson” I learned this last year is trust in the LOA process. Thank you!
