From A Loser To A Rap Star.
First of all, I would like to apologize for my bad English, It is not my native language, I’m French.
My name is Gilles Ateyaba, I was born in Narbonne, France in 1989, but my parents later moved to Montpellier, where I spent all my childhood and teenage years. I was a very sad kid, I did not have a lot of friends, I was bullied and depressed and I did not know how to cope with all this pain. My dad was Spanish, and my mom African. My mom did not speak French very well and it made me go through a lot of difficulties, I had to learn a lot of things by myself.
When I was 13, I began to write some poems to evacuate my sadness and pain. Later, I discovered rap music and decided to practice it. I remember that people kept telling me “You won’t make it. “, or ” You’ll never win, try something else. “.
In 2008, I think, I discovered The Secret and it gave me a strange strength and motivation to keep doing what I was doing. I began to visualize myself with managers, signing with major music labels and playing big shows.
Some months after my discovery of The Secret, I got a call from a man from the French band “TTC”. He made me progressively more famous. I started to have concert opportunities, I met a lot of musicians, and I finally dropped my first mixtape. And it was a pure success!
I was so happy! The Secret really worked! In 2014, I dropped my first album, “Ateyaba”, in memory of my grandfather. It worked very well, my clips were buzzing on Youtube! For example, my single “On est Sur les Nerfs” hit the million views mark and I cried, I had tears of happiness!
Here is the video – On Est Sur Les Nerfs.
And it kept going on! I played shows all over France and Europe. My life was, and is amazing. Now I’m living very well with my music, I drive my dream car and I live in my dream home. Everything is possible! I can tell you that The Secret is real, and if it worked for me, it will work for you !
Thank you Rhonda Byrne, thank you to all the people that spread The Secret, and to my fans and haters, who made me stronger!
Peace, live your dream life brothers and sisters!
