I made a promise to myself that I wanted to be retired by the age of forty, own my own home and travel to my heart’s content.

At age 37, I was retired with a guaranteed income for life and the freedom to spend my time and live my life any way I wish. It came totally unexpected and I had in fact forgotten about my dream to retire at 40 when circumstances presented itself that gave me this fortuitous life style.

Now I am winning competitions that include travel prizes and it has taken me to Sydney and the Gold Coast in the last two years and I continue to be receiving abundance not only in love, friendships and financially but in all areas of my life. I had been practicing gratitude and visualizations throughout my life but it has only been in the last month that I started reading The Secret, although I’ve had a copy of the book for years. I reconnected with a girlfriend and she recommended I read the book when I remembered that I already owned a copy. The concepts are familiar to me and I had haphazardly applied these to my life, but now with the invigoration of seeing things through fresh, new eyes and being guided how to harness the power, I am confident that many more good things will be brought to me.

I had always asked the Angels for parking spaces and always received them and thanked the Universe for my good luck, not realizing that this is all part of The Secret! I love reading the book and the ideas and quotes from various authors. I am so grateful for my life and the wonderful circumstances that surround me and the good health I have to be able to enjoy it all!
