I previously had been through a divorce and had moved back to my childhood home with my daughter. I was kind of at wit’s end. I decided I was probably going to be single for the rest of my life. I was loving my time spent with my grandchildren but I kind of felt alone.

I started listening to The Secret series in my car when I was traveling during the day and I was really interested in it. I started to pray every single day that God would just send me a best friend.

One day my friend called me up and said “Did you meet him yet?” I didn’t really know who she was talking about but was all ears. She said she had a dream that I met a man who lived on the same street as me. I started thinking about who lives on my street. They were all either married or much older than me.

Then one day my mom was in the local post office talking to her friend. Her friend was telling her about how her son, who was also previously divorced, was staying with her for a bit. And then they were talking about me as I walked in on their conversation. If that’s not something, I don’t know what is! Needless to say, our moms fixed us up.

He lived at the top of the street and I was living at the bottom. We talked on the phone a lot and spent time talking. I never thought I would meet a man so much like me. We have so much in common and truly enjoy each other’s time!!

We have been married for almost 4 years now. I am a true believer in the law of attraction. I absolutely love these books. I’ve seen it work in my own life and for my family members many times. It’s crazy to think about but if you want something bad enough it is definitely within reach. Never give up hope!!
