Little Help From The Universe!

So we had this Amazon great Indian sale going on where they offered heavy discounts on mobiles. My phone was old so I thought of making the most of it. I purchased a mobile that came with the earbuds for free. However, the invoice reflected a significant cost for the earbuds so in a panic, I cancelled the earbuds order thinking I had to pay extra unnecessarily. Later, the customer care center informed me that it was indeed free and I had missed out on the free offer.
I cursed my panicky nature which always makes things worse for me, things that would otherwise be going perfectly smoothly. But there was nothing I could do about it now. I kept saying to myself that maybe someone else needed the free earbuds more and that was why I was not getting them. I decided to be happy that at least I will have a new phone now. However, the next day the phone never went “out for delivery” and multiple calls to the customer care center could not solve the issue. Ultimately I cancelled the order thinking I got neither the mobile nor the earbuds.
To my great surprise though, the customer care center informed me that post-cancellation, I could place a fresh order after a cooling-off period and all the discounts and offers would apply again.
I waited and placed a fresh order and to my immense joy, I got all the credit card discounts and the free earbuds that I had missed out on with my previous order due to my panicky nature. Many days later I checked my order history and Amazon updated me that the mobile had been damaged in transit and therefore was never delivered.
I take this as a twist from the Universe that since I was getting a half-cooked deal earlier without the free earbuds, the Universe canceled the order so that I could get all the discounts and offers for my fresh purchase. In the end, I got a new mobile, the sales discounts and the free earbuds!
