So, my story starts back when I was young. I grew up having quite a few illnesses at a very young age. I had learned to “deal with them” all my life, except I always did it a little different. I was practicing the law of attraction even at a young age. I wanted to feel better, so I believed I felt better and things started to turn around. I wanted to go outside and be able to play, so I pictured me out there with my friends. I like to think it’s because I had a natural imagination, which is why I went to school for Fashion Design.

People have told me before I heard about “The Secret” that I had a natural love for life and zest of energy. I would like to think it’s that I’ve always had a positive and can-do attitude.

Things started to take a down hill turn in my life, and I had lost a great job and was very quickly going broke in NYC. So, I moved Chicago (because I love the city and it’s cheaper). Then I bought this book with what little money I had. Going into the book store I thought, “I can get this book, and change my life.” (By this point I’ve heard of the wonders of this book) I went into the huge book store with my $20. When I went in it was on a front display reading “30% off” (so I thought YES! Amazing! My luck is right on!), but get this! I had signed up for the “Members Club” like 2 years ago because I love reading, and saved myself another 20%.

I have continued to read the book, and live my life in this way. I’m starting what I like to call “story boards” of what will come to me. I’m working again, I’m starting to save money, and dating an amazing man.

I’m writing a check to myself for $25,000 for 4 months from now. That is going to pay for a down payment on a condo, and I know this because I picked out the one I want. Visualized myself in it and even picked out the furniture.
