I came to know about The Secret through an email from my niece in the US. I got a copy of the DVD from a nearby DVD shop in the first week of November 2007. For a few days I watched The Secret every day, later after every few days. However I had already started using the concepts of gratitude, visualization, and maintaining a journal with a list of gratitude items and pictures of my desired outcomes. Every day in the morning I give thanks to the Lord for all the blessings in my life, and visualize what is on its way into my life for the highest good of myself and my family. I now realize that I have had so many – and have so many – things in my life to be thankful for. I could feel that my moods and attitude are moving towards the positive side. Now I feel better, more patient, and contented.

I had made a cheque in my name dated December 6, 2007 and pasted it in my journal. On Dec 6th when I was at a restaurant with my wife and kids, my wife asked me if I believed in miracles. I answered “Yes” with confidence and thankfulness. She said that she was worried about finances for the various family expenses, and just on Dec 6th a colleague returned the money to her which was borrowed four and a half years ago. I praised the Lord and acknowledged that this is wonderful. I told my wife that we should be expecting more and bigger things to take place in our lives. I continued saying that we are going to use these concepts in our lives so our children could also adopt the same.
