I definitely want to start my story saying a big thank you to each and every one of you who has ever written a story here. You guys do not know how much these stories have helped me pull myself up, every single time I felt low. Thank you for all the inspiration and always reassuring me that ‘The Secret’ works.

This is a glimpse of my roller coaster ride, from moving to the US to pursue my dreams, to finally getting a direct hire, sponsored job. It was a roller coaster as I, at times, fell off the wagon of being grateful for the things I had. I read The Secret for the first time 6 or 8 years back when one of our family friends introduced it to me. It took me a really long time to get that thought instilled in my mind that “What we see in our mind is what we hold in our hands”. In the last 3 years I have manifested some really big things, one of which is what I am sharing now. This is definitely a token of my gratitude for whoever inspired me to not to give up and my little bit to make a difference to someone’s day. Let it go! As long as you are desperate and want things to happen now, the more messy your head gets. Once you are in peace and trust the Universe to figure out the ‘hows’, your life will change 360 degrees and my story is a testimony.

1. I got an admit into one of the best very best colleges and also into a ‘very much in demand’ course. That was despite the fact that my background at the time was not really the type they usually look for. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

2. I had immense trouble in getting financial aid but once I let go of the ‘hows’, things fell into place and my loan got approved.

3. I got my visa ! Oh God, that was when I had a butterfly zoo in my tummy, when the visa officer said “Your visa is approved”.

4. I got a 4.0 GPA. I initially stared with a 3.8 but once I had my mojo on and was confident about my skills, for 2 continuous semesters my GPA was 4.0. That was something that I always wanted. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Now for my ‘direct hire sponsored job’. I had the worst first 100 days of the new year. Every single time I thought I was just about to close something, it did not work. What kept me going was my gratitude journal. Just that. I trusted the Universe and kept saying to myself that what is destined to be mine shall come to me. All I should do is keep my focus and efforts and keep calm. Enjoy everything in between. In the lowest of my days I started reading The Magic again and doing the daily practices.

The day came finally when I got the call. “We are happy to have you on board and we will email you the offer letter”. I still am in amazement of the whole thing. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I’m feeling blessed like never before. To whoever is reading this, my only suggestion is to not stress about the ‘hows’, just let go and go with the flow. Believe and trust in the Universe that what is yours will come to you.
