I was given the book, “The Secret”, about one and a half years ago by a friend of mine. At that time I was very unhappy because my boyfriend and I had split up. We had a long-distance relationship for a long time and finally we decided for me to move to Sydney. It was a tough decision, giving up a great job, selling my beloved car, getting rid of my apartment and leaving all my friends and family behind… but I loved him and I had to try it out to find out if it worked. In the end it did not work out and I left Sydney after six months and returned to Germany.

Now I had to face living with my parents again (who kindly put me up), finding a job, a new place to live ,and starting all over again. It was very difficult but The Secret helped me a lot!

After having read The Secret I realized that everything that happened was my own fault. I worried so much about things not working out with him, having to return to Germany, being unemployed in the middle of a world-wide economic crisis etc. – I got exactly what was on my mind all that time. I was very upset when I realized that, but then I started to use The Secret to my advantage.

I found a job offer for a position that interested me, applied for it, and all the time I knew it would be mine! It still is mine and I like it a lot. Also, I have used The Secret to get my dream apartment for the right amount of money, and I love my new place. It has a mountain view, a big balcony, and everything I asked for.

The Secret works – whether it’s a big thing or something small you ask for… it’s amazing.

The other day I woke up and I asked the universe for 20 Euros. I have been brought up with the belief that money is not simply given to you… It’s hard work to get it. So now I am practicing attracting money to me starting with small sums – and it works. I met my parents for lunch and my dad hid 20 Euros under my keys, just like that! I was amazed. I know I’ll never have to worry about money any more!

My next goal is to find a new job. After 12 months in this position I have learned everything I can and now it is the time to move on. I have asked the universe to provide me with the perfect job with the exact starting date and I am looking forward to letting you know how I am getting on in that new position.

And I know once I am ready for it – the man of my dreams will be out there waiting for me! Everything will fall into place.
