Just Make It Happen.

The NetherlandsA very happy 19-year old boy from the Netherlands.
Hey everyone!
I’ve been dreaming for weeks to tell my story in relation to the law of attraction, because I have the feeling to do so!
When I was young, I was really overweight. I had no friends, I got bullied, people I didn’t even know coming up to me and asking “Hey, are you a boy or a girl?” Or saying “You are really ugly, do you know that?”
My parents got divorced when I was seven, my lovely grandma died a couple weeks before I was born. She was such a great inspiration due to my creativity! She was a great painter. My grandfather died when I was four years old. When I was only 6 months old I became ill, they didn’t know what it was and I was close to death. My mother was about to lose her mother and her young child in only a couple of months. Finally, they gave me medicine for meningitis, it was the last chance. And I was healed! My mother was always in debt, and that’s how I grew up, in a family full of insecurity. But I’m so thankful for that, because I had to search for answers at a young age. The most important thing my mother taught me was to always be positive.
At the age of 13 I discovered The Secret. I was totally blown away! Immediately I started to work with it, made my dream list, made a moodboard! I wanted to be in shape, I wanted to have friends with the same interests (theater), I wanted to have other friends and the list concluded a total of 51 dreams.
3 years later I found the list again, 50 of the 51 things were now reality! I had so much friends, I’ve played in a couple of theater plays, I was truly happy and full of confidence.
The sentence on the list that made me three years later so emotional was the line “I am so happy now that I am in shape!”
And I was!
But that thing opened some lessons due to The Secret. If you want to be thin or something, and you use the Law of Attraction to accomplish that, you don’t wake up some day and suddenly you’re in shape! You have to work for it, but what the universe gave me was inspiration and motivation. The idea that losing weight was truly a hobby for me! I loved every part of it, searched for information and it gave me so much self-confidence.
Another thing that I learned through-out my teen years (I’m 19 years at the moment) was that sometimes you think you want something so bad, and in the end it won’t become reality.
For example, 2 years ago I had an audition which lasted for a week, for a big theater play. I visualized, that I was playing in the theatre for many people! At the end they we’re clapping their hands and I was so proud of the cast and of myself! But unfortunately, I didn’t get the part. I had a great week though, learned so much and met some awesome people! Another audition came, I entered and it suddenly went so good! I got the part and months later I was playing 3 shows for more than a thousand people. When the applause came, I never felt so happy. This is my dream, this is where I belong! This is my future, I thought to myself. The most awesome part is, a day after the last show, I got a telephone call. It was the director of the play I auditioned for and got rejected for earlier. He offered me a part in the play, because he needed just one more actor. So looking back at this, the rejection earlier just needed to happen, to play in another play! Just keep it positive and believe! Some things just need to happen to get you even further!
This summer break I’ve experienced a similar thing. To make a long story short, I got a rejection for a group I wanted to enter to become better in acting. It made me think of the future, what I truly wanted to do this year! I wanted to go to the Academy of Dramatic Arts! I wrote it down on my dreamlist, bought a notebook for my life! Every day I wrote the things down which I’m thankful for, wrote things down I like about myself and I began to think of exercises for myself that kept me happy and would bring me closer to my dreams. For example, you’ve read in The Secret that you have to do things as if your dream already came true. I made a list of what would I do when…
For example, what would I do when I’ve entered the Academy of Dramatic Arts. I would eat healthy, I would stay in shape by exercising, I would write ideas for on stage or performances immediately down, whenever it comes. You’ll see those are small things you can already do! So it’ll bring you to the vibration of already living that dream. I auditioned and my school will start upcoming Monday!
I don’t know why, but I felt strongly to tell my story! So many other things happened in my life, from small things to big things. My father didn’t believe in my acting career and we had so many conversations about that. My mother and my friends and family always believed in me.
But I think the most important thing is that I’ve always believed in myself. What I can do, that I am able to chase my dreams successfully! And if you truly believe in yourself, no one can ever bring you down! Because you know one thing, no matter where you are, no matter what you want, no matter who you are, if you truly believe in yourself making it successfully in the world, you will make it! Chase your dreams, believe in yourself, feel the love around you and just have a very happy life!
I believe in you all! Magic Dust for everyone.
