Just A Little Change!

East coast, USALive in the USA. Growing in discovering my magnificence.
I was at lunch break at work and really wanted a pair of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. As I put my money in the vending machine, it read that I was a nickel short. I’m pretty sure I had exact change, but for whatever reason the machine didn’t count it. So I got my change back, less a nickel and was disappointed.
Now, something about me. Whenever I use a vending machine I typically will leave the change if it’s less than 15 cents or so. I always say in my head that sometimes all you need is a nickel to have enough to buy something and so I like to leave it in case the next person is hungry but doesn’t have quite enough.
And this day I was the one in need of just one nickel. Anyway, so I checked the change dispenser and the top of the machine in case there happened to be some wayward change left behind. Nothing.
I started to walk away defeated, but I said to myself “No! For all these times I’ve left my money in those machines, I’ve got to find a nickel somehow!” In other words, I deserve it!
So I started to walk around the area looking for my nickel. Then something told me to look under the machine. Lo and behold, what did I see? Sitting there all alone was a single dime!
Needless to say, I bought my candy and was very amazed. Not only was I provided with 5 cents to buy what I wanted but I also had 5 cents left over to leave in the vending machine for the next person who may need it.
Cool huh?
