Let me start by saying that I never did not believe in The Secret. I did, but I guess the easiest way to describe it would be that I never really felt it in my bones. I knew I had attracted things before by using the techniques and I had witnessed others do the same. However, it took a lot of setbacks for me to actually dive right in and devote my time and energy to properly learning and understanding The Secret. I honestly believe now that it has saved my life.

Anyhow, I started journaling and I’m about 2/3 of the way through The Magic. I have watched The Secret movie a few times a week for the past three weeks or so.

To test it, I started imagining that I would see signs in the form of feathers, as I had read someone else’s story about doing that. At first, I tried manifesting a simple gray feather as I did not think that I would be likely to see one. It did a gray feather but I was still skeptical that it could have been a coincidence.

Fast forward a little bit to some bigger manifestations that I realized today, only after I felt myself falling back into thinking, “Is this working?”  I realized that in the chapter of The Magic where you write a check to yourself, I had made it out for $600 because there was a dog I want to adopt for $500 and I would also need supplies. Now, I am on furlough from work and there is only one week left of the government providing an extra $600 a week on top of unemployment. The two payments together equal exactly what I would be making if I was working. I knew that trying to apply for a dog is a huge financial commitment. To anyone else, it would seem silly to even consider it when I’m not even working and government assistance will run out soon. I am also using The Secret for this too, so I’m not worried about work or money because I know it will work out.

Well, I filed my State taxes yesterday on the deadline, not knowing whether I would owe money, or just get a little back. I did The Magic practice of ‘imagining a great outcome’ and said to myself “Thank you for this magnificent outcome.” Well, I am now getting over $600 back! I was just happy to have a magnificent outcome, but today I realized that it was also manifested to pay for the dog I wanted!

Now as I am reflecting on my past, I’ve realized that there are specific things I remember manifesting before I knew about The Secret. I remember feeling so joyful about them and pretending I had them before I actually did. That happened for two new jobs, each better than the other. It also happened when I got my perfect cat. My cat is exactly what I pictured in my head with exactly the personality I described and got her for free, too. I have gotten a new car, a better salary, and new best friends. I have at least four new friends now since feeling thankful for “people wanting to be my friend”, back when I felt I barely had any.
