It’s a Wonderful Life
Submitted by: Diane
WIltshire, EnglandA firm believer in a wonderful life.
I can only begin at the point before I met my husband. I was in a relationship that I wanted to get out of and was wishing for a hard working, loving, caring man.
I managed to leave the relationship and had fun out with my girlie friends for a bit.
I first met my husband when we were 4yrs old, he lived in my village, we went to school together, had been to each others birthday parties when we were children and our lives have always been not far apart. He tried to ask me out before but found out I was in a relationship so left it at that. When I was free and single again he approached me in our local with a red rose and the rest is history.
We began to live a life of abundance, he lived opposite my work so when he was home from work we would spend so much time together. We always had money even if we spent it all more would show up. We were always happy and never argued. We got married had the wedding of our dreams and spent Christmas in a lovely hotel in Scotland.
We lived in Germany for a bit and met great friends and then we had a beautiful baby girl. Life couldn’t be more perfect.
I went back to work when my daughter was small, My hubby was commuting a lot and my job was really stressful.I missed being at home with my daughter and was always consumed with guilt, I put pressure on myself at work and would always be biting my husband’s head off. At this point was when our life changed.
In march 2008 I had a miscarriage, we couldn’t believe it had happened to us, we couldn’t understand how the invincible team had had such bad luck. We fell pregnant again and through a pregnancy of anguish and worry we had our baby boy the following February. Our son was born with a disability and only now do I realise how the law of attraction works……….Worry, anguish, stress, guilt are all negative feelings that my husband and I were attracting into our lives.
Present day:
My husband went away to work abroad for a few weeks. The kids were being monkeys, I missed my man and feeling a bit poo, my neighbour gave me a book to read “The Secret”
I couldn’t put it down, It occurred to me how my life had panned out.
From then on what has happened since has been crazy.
Week One: I am a money magnet. I sold some of my crafts and got offered a job without an interview. I saw the book ‘The Power’ on amazon and thought “I’d like to read that,” and the next day it was on the shelf as I turned the corner in the supermarket No 12 in the book chart.
Week Two: I try to manifest a butterfly and my daughter brings home a leaf two days later shaped as a butterfly
Week three: I try to manifest a rainbow on a day with torrential rain. It did appear but not to me, my neighbours saw it and the next day I saw an advert for a competition and the answer was rainbow.
Week Four: I willed the universe to bring me some chocolate (having a bad day) my cousin felt sorry for me so sent me flowers and chocolate. From then on chocolate keeps being posted to me even from my phone company!!
Week Five: I am always visualising winning the lottery. I won £20 on the euro millions and was elated.
Week Six:I’m trying to manifest a Tiffany Heart Necklace by the end of the week and a euro million lottery win. When I visualised my necklace I came down for breakfast and my daughter said “look what I found mum” It was two crunchy nut cornflakes shaped like hearts.
These are all small things but the big one will be soon I can feel it in my bones.
Since reading the Secret every day I visualise winning the lottery every day so I can spend all my time with my husband and children and so I can also take care of my parents, brothers and sisters and so we can all live near to each other again. We want to live in our village in a house I have set my heart on.
I will be writing another story here when I get my euro millions jackpot because I truly believe it won’t be long.
I appreciate my life now. My children and husband mean the world to me and always have done. My son’s disability has brought great things into our life as we do huge amounts for charity and have so far raised £10,000 for all the people who are involved in his care. We are compassionate, caring human beings and have made great friends on our life journeys. I am over the moon to have read ‘The Secret’ because we have been doing it all along.
I am the luckiest person alive and I know I live a wonderful life xxx
