It works out in the end

Last summer, my husband and I found out we were expecting our second child. We had been struggling financially, but were ecstatic about having another baby. In order to make ends meet, both my husband and I work full time. Although I was guaranteed Family Leave through my company, it would be unpaid. I wanted to take at least 12 weeks off after the baby was born, but had no idea how we would afford to pay our mortgage without my income contribution. I let my husband worry about that. I knew without a doubt it would work out in the end, and lived my life believing I would be home with my baby.
Sure enough, in September, my father pulled me aside at a family function and handed me a check for $10,000! It was my inheritance from my grandmother who passed earlier that year. The money was completely unexpected, but was EXACTLY the amount that would allow me to take 12 weeks of maternity leave.
As I write this story, I am enjoying this time off with my 2 beautiful children. I am so grateful for this special time! THANK YOU!
