Hi everybody,

I just want to share my story here. I read The Secret almost two years ago after first watching the movie but the first time I didn’t really understand everything. Then I watched it again and after the second time it got to me. Before I watched the movie, someone had already told me about The Secret and advised me to go read the book, but it was about two years after that, that I read the book. My mom let someone order it for us.

I began reading and ever since I have been practicing The Secret. I was doing something wrong, like focusing on negative things, so it didn’t really work for me at first. Now that it is a year later, I come to this website every day and read stories here for hours. I watch the little videos, etc. I’d been looking for a job for months now, and it was either I couldn’t find anything or they rejected me. So every time that things went wrong, I got a little sad and discouraged to keep looking for a job.

Well, a couple of weeks ago, maybe the end of March, I was busy searching for a job. I wrote in my agenda that, “By the 18th of April, I already have a job and it will be a nice one too because God loves me.” That’s what I wrote. I kept looking at that date and read the sentence over and over and tried to feel grateful for the job I was about to get. I kept saying, “Thank you!” And what happens?

Two weeks ago I got a call from a daycare that I wrote a letter to and they were interested and asked if I could come to have a talk! Long story short, by the 18th of April, I had a second appointment with the manager about my contract and what they were going to pay me. I will begin work in May. I am so happy because everything will be okay, just as long as I will stay positive and will keep saying thank you.
