It truly works!

Chicago, ILI am a twenty something dreamer, who has always wanted more... like to be a dream catcher!
I grew up relatively poor. I never went without, but my life had much sadness. My mother was always telling me everything I couldn’t do, because of money, usually, but I always watched movies and read books and wanted to have the things I saw and imagined.
My first goal was to be on TV. I began auditioning for things at 17 (at least this was my first TV audition). Well, I tried for a little time and I felt kind of down, I wasn’t getting anywhere and I didn’t like my job.
I watched The Secret maybe two years ago, and after that I just started trying to utilise it in every way.
My first gig was for Fox and WGN. It was a simple podcast but it allowed me to tape an interview with Kerri Hilson!
After that nothing more happened for some months. I still had to keep my day job. I then got more specific: I wanted a national TV program, paid, and syndicated. I auditioned for this reality show with MTV. I was extremely ill, and I was actually not going to do it, but I auditioned anyway. I heard nothing for nine months. I kept holding on to the hope that something would happen for me.
Well, on November 4, I had an email with a forty page contract in it for a new show. I didn’t have to audition, they were going to fly me to LA and I would be on a Vh1 national reality show, paid every day, and it would be re run for about two years.
It turned out this was not the avenue for me, but it showed me what I didn’t want and also that I need to be specific in what I want. This experience also introduced me to other avenues and showed me that anything is possible!
