There have been several ways that the Secret has worked for my family. My boss had recommended the book to me 6 months ago and I had intended on buying it myself. I had over time found several excuses not to make it to the book store.

Several things happened in my life between then and now. My husband lost his job and had been unemployed for 4 months. During this same time (January 2008) I was told that I will be losing my job in 2 months (March 2008). We would both be unemployed in the very near future.

Two weeks later my boss asked me if I would like to borrow the book some time, and of course I immediately said yes. While reading the book I saw several things take place immediately.

I was asked to stay on at my job for an extended period, and they would pay me $5,000.00 to stay. The stipulation was that I had to stay until the end of May 2008, or I would not receive the bonus. I had a job interview within that same week with a company that I dreamed of working. They told me that the position I am applying for did not start until June 2008, and I am waiting for my 3rd interview.

My husband has now become an insurance sales representative. He discovered the Secret while in a sales meeting at his office. That same day he visualized my making a certain meal for him that evening to which he was not aware of. When he came home the meal was ready. He was skeptical of the things I had told him about the Secret, but now he is in belief.

I went on to visualize an abundance of money in my life, and now daily I will find coins laying around outside. There have been several times since that I have received small unexpected deposits to my checking account.

This has even worked with my children. There have been times that I will visualize that my children will behave well at public functions where otherwise they may not have in the past. We have had several happy events.

We have found that it is bringing our family closer together, and we have been so much happier.
