When you first read the Secret its quite hard to get your head around! The more I have read the book, watched the movie and read the stories on this site the more I come to understand. Like lots of people I’ve had relationships that didn’t work out and I am so keen to meet my soulmate, and settle down with a family. But as much as I wanted to believe I needed that sign, confirmation that the Secret really does work…

I met a guy a few months ago and he was really in to me and I wasn’t interested at first but he sort of grew on me over time, and I thought yes maybe I like him too. His friends were coming up to me and telling me how much he liked me but the guy was really shy and never made a move so I decided if anything was going to happen I would have to be the one to do it.

But, while this was going on I discovered The Secret and started to work on visualising my soulmate and I wrote a list of his qualities. And you know what? The guy that I liked just didn’t match up to them. So I was so confused – I wanted my soulmate and I wanted this guy.

Well deep in my heart I knew this guy wasn’t right for me and I thought if the universe is really going about bringing my soulmate to me then it won’t let me be with this guy because we don’t match up.

The guy was becoming more flirty with me and chasing after me. So one night when I was out with him and our friends I confronted him privately about the flirting and his interest in me and said to him, “If you want this to become something then lets make it happen. Let’s go out on a date and take it from there. He said, “No.” And so I said, “Then this ends here.”

I feel great, so relieved. Mo more confusion no more wondering what will happen and if the Secret is real. This was my sign, the universe won’t let me be with the wrong guy. Now I know my soulmate is definitely on his way!
