I came across The Secret book in 2007 but wasn’t in a good place in my life to read it, and I still haven’t read it in its entirety. I’m in the process of it, though! However, I did read Hero this month after seeing it on a friend’s coffee table.

A bit of a back story: My toddler and I co-sleep, and my husband sleeps on a mattress beside ours, so the room is one big mattress on the ground. It was hurting my back like this, and there was a particular bed from IKEA that I had been dreaming of owning for three years.

Now, on to the instant magic!

After reading only 30 pages of the Hero book, I decided to “start small.” I visualized that a certain bed from IKEA was in my bedroom, and my toddler was sleeping in her own cot in her room. I visualized it all in great detail.

Knowing we were not in a good financial position, I doubted my dream for maybe a day but quickly decided to truly believe. Less than three weeks passed, and that dream bed from IKEA is now in my bedroom. My toddler still sleeps in it with me, but I focused more on my dream bed rather than her in her bed. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
