I read The Secret last summer, but didn’t really put much more thought into it until the beginning of this year. I decided that a new, fresh start was in order, and that the Secret’s rules of positive thinking were exactly what my life and my family needed.

Money had been tight for awhile around our house, and my mother had been attempting to sell an extra vehicle we had for a couple of months to help with bills. It had been listed online with her contact info for the past couple of weeks without one interested offer. One night as we drove to dinner, she remarked how badly she needed to sell that car. I had just reviewed The Secret website that day, so in my head I acted as if we had already sold it and told her happily: “Don’t worry – it’s going to sell very soon. I know it”. She looked at me doubtfully but was quickly distracted as her cell phone rang. I wasn’t surprised in the least when she hung up and told me excitedly that it was a man who had seen the ad online and wanted to come by that very night to see our car. He came by as promised, and the next day he drove the car home, leaving my mom with a check for nearly $10,000!

After that success, I decided to try the Secret on a very big goal of mine. I am a model, and have wanted to shoot for the most prestigious and respected men’s magazine in the world (take a guess 🙂 P……) for quite some time. I put that desire into action and began working out every day, tanning, having my nails done, and taking great care of myself, as if I was in preparation for a photo shoot for that magazine. LESS THAN A MONTH after I began to do this, I received a call from the editor of the magazine and was asked to do a photo shoot at a Malibu mansion at the end of that month … not to mention that the pay was great and they put me up in a beautiful hotel the entire weekend!

I could not be happier. Now I’m using the Secret on a daily basis, and I can’t wait to see when my goals and intentions come to fruition. I have so much more joy in my life and I am so thankful for everything that I have.
