My brother and I had to get back home late one night. It was past midnight, and we lived in a town where the buses stopped running at eleven at night, so we were stuck. I told him, don’t worry, I know we’re going to get home one way or another. So we decided to walk to a nearby bank and pull out some money for cab fare. On the way to the bank, we saw a cab on duty, but it didn’t stop for us. So we decided to continue to the bank and then call a cab from there. After we emerged from the bank with money, my brother asked me to call the cab, but something inside of me said we would come across a cab. I walked towards the street, telling him that a cab would come to us, we wouldn’t need to call for one. My brother laughed it off since it was midnight and we had just seen a cab already, and what were the chances of running into another one? So we walked a bit, and I kept looking back into the cars that were passing us, knowing a cab would be coming, visualizing a cab. It came so easily to me. Next thing you know, I noticed a car – it was a cab, but off duty. I went for it right away by impulse. I waved it down – and it actually stopped for us! Our chances were obviously very slim, but through knowing and trusting the Universe would deliver what I wanted, I got it.
