Imaginary Letter Of Revision Works!

Hello Friends!
Thank you for all your stories they are so, so helpful to me. And thank you Rhonda and all the great teachers of The Secret.
I was sent a letter from my landlord’s lawyer saying that they where not renewing my lease.
I phoned the Realtor who I got the house from and he said that the landlord wanted the house back to live in himself. And so there was ABSOLUTELY no way I could have a new lease.
I remembered I had read in a book by Neville Goddard that said if you get a letter with news you don’t like, in your imagination rewrite it to say what you want it to read. And then visualize reading that new rewritten letter again and again.
Since I had the envelope and stationary from the landlord’s lawyer I used it to see and imagine a letter with the letter head from the lawyer saying I could now have a new lease.
About a week later something occurred in the house that needed repair immediately. BTW, nothing had ever gone wrong in the house before. I called the lawyer and told him, expecting him to send someone to repair it. Instead the landlord called me himself from out of state where he lives. He left his number and asked me to call him back about the repair. Before this I did not have his number and I had never met him!
I imagined and visualized our phone call and that I would ask him for a new lease and he would say yes.
I called him and we spoke about him sending someone to do the repair. I then took a deep breathe and simply asked him if I could have a new lease and stay in the house. He said to let him think about it!!
During all this time, about a month, I still had to prepare to vacant but I did not want my mind to believe I was moving. I remembered what Rhonda said about playing games and make believe. So I just focused on clutter clearing and letting go of tons and tons of stuff I really and truly did not use or need.
I never, ever allowed myself to think that what I was doing by letting all the stuff go was preparing to “maybe” move.
About a week later a got a letter from the lawyer. Not a phone call from the landlord nor a call from the Realtor, but a letter from the lawyer.
It was just as I had imagined and visualized! As I opened it I knew that it said that I could have a new lease, and it did!
I did not feel very joyful during all this, nor was I focused on gratitude. But neither was I stressed. I was kinda just very neutral, but I did keep my thoughts on God all the time. The booklet “Leave it to God” by Christian Larson, I read every day.
I hope this is helpful to someone as all your posts have been so helpful to me. xxxxxxx
