I would like to give a huge thank you to the creators of The Secret. You guys have no idea how much influence you have had.

I am from a middle-class family where money is the biggest constraint. There’s a saying in India that if you don’t have the green stuff you don’t have any class or respect. And mind you, Apple products are way expensive in India and I very much wanted an iPhone.

I had read The Secret book and watched the movie. So after learning the law of attraction, I decided to attract an iPhone. I had no idea how I was gonna get it or if my dad would ever allow me to buy such an expensive phone. But I did know this, that I wanted the iPhone on the morning of my 18th birthday.

There’s a part in The Secret movie that says to do whatever you need to generate the feeling of having the stuff want now. So I did. I watched all the unboxing videos on YouTube and would feel grateful for my phone I already had because if you can’t be grateful for what you already have, you can’t attract better things in the future. I downloaded iTunes on my computer and imagining that I had an iPhone. I took a lot of effort to keep myself motivated but that’s where the challenge is. I used to tell my friends that I was going to buy an iPhone and they used be like, “Dude do you really need such an expensive phone?” or “Your dad won’t allow you”. I stayed focused anyway.

On the evening of my birthday, my dad said, “Let’s go and buy your iPhone. Consider it your birthday gift.”. I was stunned! All those sounds playing in my head, like the one that Jack Canfield experienced when he attracted the money. I was like, this stuff works like magic!!

But as I had wished for my iPhone to come on the morning of my 18th birthday, I told dad we should go the first thing in the morning.

When my friends saw my iPhone they were stunned! They thought I was just lucky. That’s the difference between people who use The Secret and those who don’t.

My simple advice is to watch the movie as many times as you can or read the book as many times as you can. May the happiness with you!
