About a month ago I picked up my copy of The Secret book again and started reading all these uplifting stories here as well. I found out there was another book: The Power. When I bought it, there was a gratitude book attached to it… for FREE!!
I was so excited and I decided to change my life around. Every day now, I write in my gratitude book, about all the things I have and all the things I want in my life. I asked for a few ‘little’ things, like signs on what decisions to take or how something will work out.

When I decided to go to Texas next year, I decided I should find a cheap ticket. So I made a fake confirmation e-mail from a famous airline service, put a price on it, printed it and saw myself sitting on that plane. While I was doing this visualisation exercise, I listened to some uplifting music. Whilst seeing it happen and listening to the music, I felt all these good vibes.

A few days later, I found a ticket that, with all extra charges, was 100 Euros more expensive than what I had written on the confirmation mail. Now, I did book the flight, as I assumed (and this is probably due to the fact that the ‘change your beliefs’ doesn’t happen overnight for me) that this was the cheapest price I’d ever find. However, for some reason, I was convinced that things are not always what they seem to be. Once, I attracted a car which was just a little more expensive than what I had imagined. But it only hit me years after that, that when I bought the car, I got a raise at my job which did do a LOT more than cover the extra cost of the car.

So back to last week: in the meantime, I was thinking about getting me a set of snow tyres. I just couldn’t decide whether to do it or not. It is so expensive and I also had bought this ticket to Texas…

A few days ago, when watching TV, there was this message on the screen that said: you can win snow tyres if you send a text to this number. I was thinking: hey why don’t I give it a shot? So I did. And then, I totally forgot about it. A day later, I got a call when I was at work: I had actually WON the snow tyres!!! Isn’t that awesome??

It’s been a long story for you guys I guess. My point here is: don’t get disappointed when things are brought to you that -at first sight- don’t seem to be EXACTLY what you wanted. The Universe has its own mysterious ways of bringing you everything you need and even better than that! When you get it, even if it doesn’t seem to be perfect to you… BE GRATEFUL!!! Feel it in your heart! Because… The Universe will make sure to bring you other things that in the end, do more than just ‘make up’ for its “imperfection”! Trust me, I know!! ;-))
