Used The Secret To Pass, Meditate
Submitted by: Georgia
Co. Down, IrelandI spend a lot of time on this website, but I rarely read the really long stories so I’ll keep this short and sweet.
I’m doing my GCSEs this year, and a few days ago I took my French oral. While everybody else had been studying for weeks, I somehow found myself leaving everything until the day before. I only studied for a few hours in total.
The next morning, it suddenly hit me that I’d only done a few hours studying for a GCSE exam. I had 15 minutes of preparation time before I went into the actual exam, so I calmed myself down and visualized myself in the room, speaking fluently with my teacher. I spent a few minutes just meditating, taking deep breaths, and focusing on holding a report with all A* results on it. I repeated to myself, “This is easy, I can do this, my questions will be so simple.”
Anyway, the exam went amazingly well. The questions were easy, I found I remembered *everything* I’d studied, and at the end the teacher said my performance was outstanding and she’d be shocked if I didn’t receive top band marks.
My advice to anyone taking exams is to study as much as you can without stressing yourself out, read over your notes the day before the exam, and visualize and meditate the next morning. Good luck, and I hope this helps!
