Hey!

I am an 18 year old girl, who used to do well academically, but nothing very extraordinary. I had never ever topped my class before!

So this time I REALLY wanted to make a mark. I studied passionately, night and day, as if it was the only thing that mattered; always thinking of topping my class. This fuelled my energy all the more, and made me push even harder. It never felt like work at all. I was the happiest when I was studying.

During the exams, I kept my affirmations going, even though some papers were horrible! My family prayed with me (thank you!). On the day of the result, I was calming my nerves and willing my subconscious mind to believe. And yes – I had topped. My mum was so proud! Everything was going on as I had visualised. I didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry!

This means a lot to me, as I had tried this twice before, and failed. Also, when I opened my ‘dream’ diary to frame this article today, you know what I saw? A wish I had addressed to God before: to make me top with a 90% (pretty dfficult to get, guys!). And here I was – with a 90.83%!! Yaaay!!! 😀

Keep trying! Never give up! Persevere! Persist! Don’t accept a ‘no’! Success might just be round the corner! Losing is not an option for you! Don’t quit! Don’t quit! Don’t quit!
