I have known about The Secret for several years now, and it has been the one thing constant in my life. Many great things have happened because of The Secret, and admittedly, also some bad things happened during those times that I have doubted the power of The Secret.

Let me tell you, doubt is the absolute killer of the power of The Secret and I am a first hand witness of that.

In August of 2010, my father was diagnosed with cancer. It almost destroyed me. But my whole family believes in The Secret so we applied it.

My father was cancer free in 7 months. Up to this day, it amazes me.

Then there are the other small stories of mine where The Secret is very evident. I will share with you guys my most favorite.

Recently, I looked at my previous entries in my journal and I came across one dated in September 2012. I wrote that I wanted to be an actress “I don’t know how, I don’t know when, I just really, really want to be an actress, it is my passion.” I really didn’t know how because I never joined any high school plays, I had no connections, and I was so busy with my university life.

We’ll let me tell you, on March 2013 just 6 months after my journal entry, my good friend that I met in college asked me if it wanted to take a summer acting workshop. Of course, I said yes. I did the workshop for about six weeks, then had a short play.

After the play, I was asked to join them again for a play-reading, but I didn’t think much of the proposal. Within a week I was asked to go back to the studio for the reading. And a week later, I became part of that theater company and was cast as the lead role for one of our upcoming plays.

From not knowing how I was to become an actress to actually belonging to a theater company, I can’t help but smile and thank the universe.

Soon I will meet with one of the country’s top talent managers and I am sure he will be another key player in my pursuit of my dream.

Right now, I am focusing my energy on acting and getting my first boyfriend as I am already 19. And as early as now, I know I can already thank the universe.

Forget about doubt, and focus on thanks!!! Also, time is of no importance, just focus on what you want. ASK. BELIEVE. RECEIVE.
