April 2008, Graduation Day. I graduated in the course of BS Nursing. My best friend, Jill, kept on urging me to take the June board exams so that we will be registered nurses soon.

I really didn’t have the feeling or the guts to just take the exam that easily. It was April and I only had a few months left for the review. I had so many negative thoughts about taking the exam, so afraid that if I fail, I would disappoint my parents and family. In short, I didn’t have confidence and I didn’t even know how to have it.

After the exams Jill told me she passed the exams. I now told her my concern. She gave me this book “The Secret” and told me to read it well, and read it over and over again; it will help a lot.

So what I did was read it, and read it, and read it, and tried to apply it. I did a note in my notebook of what I liked the most. I did a vision board and put it beside my bed. Every morning when I woke up and before I went to sleep at night I would have a glance of it, and it made me feel good. I believed I already had it. So I wrote in front of my notebook my name with RN at the end. I did, I believed in it, and acted as if I already was a registered nurse. I became grateful for what I have.

In November 2008, I took the exams without any negative thoughts in my mind, and with confidence I finished the exam. A few months later, the results of the exam came out. And I was shocked, I made it. I became a registered nurse.

So I can say this is really working! And up to now, I live my life with The Secret.
