I Met My Favorite Band!
I discovered The Secret about 10 years ago and it has completely transformed nearly every aspect of my life. It’s hard to explain in words how grateful I am to Rhonda, the whole team of The Secret, and everyone before us who has passed on this wonderful gift to the world. I’ve manifested so many things in those 10 years that I’ve lost count. I want to share my favorite story, how I manifested one of my biggest dreams.
This is a story from 2019 before the pandemic.
I’ve always loved listening to music and it is a substantial part of my life. Several years ago, I was going through one of the hardest times of my life, and I had depression. What saved me from all of that was music, as well as my favorite band that I had discovered by chance at that time. Since then, I knew I wanted to meet them in person. Not only to see them perform but to thank them for literally saving my life.
The problem was that I live in Europe, and the band is Japanese, on the other side of the world. They travel abroad only for world tours, which happen once in a few years. Also, tickets sell out like crazy within minutes, so the chance of meeting them is extremely small. They had actually come to perform in Europe in 2016, but I couldn’t go due to financial issues. That had crushed my spirits for a long time until I remembered The Secret. I’ve read The Power and The Magic as well.
Because I am an artist and I love to paint, visualizing is very easy for me to do. Visualization, combined with intense, positive feelings, has always been my favorite way to manifest things. I believe this is what helped me the most. Many times before falling asleep, I would imagine as many details as I could, as if I were at the meet and greet. I would imagine how I’m holding the musicians’ hands, how I’m speaking to them in Japanese, what I would tell them, how I would feel, and then I let it go with happy tears on my face as I fell asleep.
I did that on and off for a couple of years until things gradually started falling into place perfectly like puzzle pieces. In 2018, I was looking for a part-time job to earn some money so I could go see the band, but with no success. One day, a friend had told me his company was looking for new people to hire, so he recommended me and I was hired with barely any effort. That job, which was my first one, was exactly what I had wanted; what I earned was enough to cover all of my trip expenses and more. I knew that was the Universe responding to my wishes.
Eventually, in 2019, the band had announced their new world tour, and it was smooth sailing from there. Buying a VIP concert ticket that included a meet and greet, the flights, meeting my friends from all over Europe, it all seemed unreal. I was even in the front row, which is very rare to experience. After the concert, I met the band just like I had imagined it in my mind, holding their hands and thanking them in Japanese for saving my life with their music. For the first time, I felt as light as a feather, as if I was levitating. I felt nothing but happiness and gratitude. That day showed me that dreams do come true, as long as you believe they will.
I hope this story will bring you some positivity in these trying times and strengthen your belief in the law of attraction. My next biggest dream is to meet my second favorite band, but this time in Japan. Thank you once again and Magic Dust to you all!
