I Manifested Studying Abroad!
Submitted by: Gigi M
Doha, QatarI'm just here to have fun and live my best life.
To whoever is reading this, never lose faith, even during the hardest times. I am hoping my story inspires someone out there.
Growing up with strict parents, I found it incredibly difficult to see myself fulfilling my dream to study in the UK. I saw my parents as a sort of block in the way of doing so, as they did not approve of my decision to study abroad, and they would not “let me” leave the country in order to fulfill my biggest desire.
So I decided to imagine myself as someone with parents who already allowed me to go to the UK to study. I developed the mindset of the person I wanted to be. I was enjoying myself so much that whether or not my desire appeared in the 3D world made no difference to me anymore because, to me, I already had it.
I then applied to my top 5 universities on UCAS, and I am so grateful to say that I got into all of them! I also applied for sponsorships in order to get financial support for my education.
One day, when I was approaching the end of my senior year, my aunt (my mother’s sister) asked me about my plan for going to university. I expressed to her my dream to study abroad and my parent’s opinions against it. She then proceeded to call my parents and attempted to convince them to let me study abroad, insisting that she will stay with me for a month to ensure everything is going okay. I also applied for a foundation year for some of the unis, and if they still weren’t happy with my decision to study abroad after that, then I would just complete the rest of my university education in my home country.
I honestly don’t know how she did it, but she successfully convinced them both. She and my mom are very close, and my mother even looks up to her. I wholeheartedly believed it would happen, I didn’t know how; it didn’t matter how. The Universe always finds a way. If you are on the same vibrational frequency as your desire, it is the universal law that you shall receive.
I am currently writing this from my dorm room in the University of Leeds, and my aunt just traveled back to my home country yesterday. I am so grateful for both The Secret and my aunt. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
