I worked as a newsletter editor for my company about 25 years ago. We held a photo contest among the employees and I was part of the judges panel. One of the winners was a field engineer at a site in Florida (I was working at the main office in Maryland). He was required to send in a photo of his boss and him during the prize award ‘ceremony’ at his jobsite. When I saw the photo, I knew I had to meet this man. So, I taped the photo to the inside of my top desk drawer to see every time I opened that drawer. Less than a year later, he was transferred to the main office; his department secretary told me he wanted to be introduced to me and asked if it was alright! I was stunned to find out it was the man in the photo taped inside my drawer! We met and less than a year later we were married! We just celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary! The power of the universe is awesome!
