I first watched The Secret about a year ago, but I didn’t think much of it back then; though now that I think about it, I used it to manifest some amazing things seldom realizing what I was doing. Being skeptical I didn’t continue to use it but I kept remembering it from time to time. A year passed and I came drawn to The Secret again because I suffered a great loss. I was devastated because my boyfriend and I broke up. I was really lost and really didn’t know what I wanted. As always, the Universe answers to what we think about and being lost and confused nothing really happened until I set my mind to what I wanted. One night, I asked the Universe for guidance about him and within a few days my mind was clear and I knew exactly what I wanted. All of sudden my confusion left me and I knew he was who I wanted to be with so I read The Power and The Magic and practiced them. Now, I am thankful for this whole experience because it is what brought me back to re-discover The Secret.
I am a very anxious person and that meant (I later realized) that I wasn’t letting go. It was only when I controlled my anxiety and just trusted (it took me like 2 months to accomplish this) that I really started to see changes. Small things which I had no attachment to did manifest like a parking spot, a feather and stuff like that but not the ones that really mattered to me.
So, immediately after I let go everything changed. What I wanted to share though is one thing that struck me the most. One day, I went to register in an office for a study program when I noticed an add advertising a contest to win a, android tablet. My first thought was “wow, it would be really cool to win that”. I went home and never thought of that again, but I kept thinking how cool it would be to be able to have my books in a tablet or something like that for school; but I never remembered the contest. A week or so later I received a phone call from a lady at the office telling me that I had won the tablet! I couldn’t believe it! I didn’t even know I was participating in the contest! I am just so happy to have had this amazing experience of winning this contest that I immediately wanted to share my story with everyone.

I read these stories every day and they keep me inspired and hopeful and happy and I am SO thankful for them that I wanted to give one back.

I am now in the process of manifesting my other desires. To all of you out there: keep believing and just let go and let the Universe handle it. Being anxious only slows down the process so relax and let go.
