Thank you God for blessing me and thank you Rhonda and The Secret team for sharing The Secret with the world.

I have always been very negative and insecure about myself. I would never apply for jobs that I truly wanted because I felt like I wouldn’t get hired so I would kinda take what I could get through recommendation.

About 3 years ago I applied for a position at a very high paying restaurant. I was able to get an interview, but of course I didn’t receive a call back because I went in feeling like I was going to fail.

Recently I landed a job at a really cool bar that I enjoyed. Unfortunately I was fired because my boss began power tripping and started to give the staff a hard time. I was completely devastated. I felt like how could this happen to me. I did an excellent job, I was hard working and energetic and most importantly I was grateful.

So that same week I went onto Craig’s List and to my surprise the restaurant that I applied at 3 years prior was accepting applications. I immediately starting to think positive, visualizing the interview going well with a really nice manager and me passing the test with flying colors.

I tried hard to push the fact that I had been fired out of my mind but it was hard not to keep replaying what happen in mind. At night I would visualize me working at the restaurant and really enjoying my co-workers and being appreciated by my boss. I went in to fill out the application and I was lucky enough to get an interview with one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The interview went well and I was asked to take two tests.

I passed them all! I walked out and called all my friends and told them that I got the job! I went into my day job and adjusted my schedule so that I would have free nights and weekends because I was confident about my new position. I went out that evening and had drinks with friends to celebrate. All this before they actually called me for the position.

And what do you know… I got the job!

I went from making about $30,000.00 a year to now making $100,000.00! I’m happier than ever and I’m finally confident about my future. All of this happened because I decided to stay positive and maintain a laser like focus on my vision.
