I got the job that I have been asking for and wanting!

I have been looking for and wanting a new job in the Phoenix, Arizona area. I was applying to so many jobs on career websites in the Phoenix area and was getting some phone interviews and in person interviews, but even though I was getting interviews I wasn’t getting called back for the job or a second interview! At one point, I was getting really frustrated with all the effort I was putting into the job search and no outcome. I have known The Secret for about more than a year now and I’ve applied it to other parts of my life and had/have success with it, so I was wondering why I was struggling so much in trying to find a job in the Phoenix area.

I have realized that my thoughts and feelings about getting a job in the Phoenix area were focused on fear and doubt. I kept telling myself to stay positive, but I wasn’t FEELING the feelings of already having the job. Those feelings of fear and doubt were only pushing my new job away from me. It was a good thing I finally came to realize this and take it easy. I decided to stop stressing myself out over finding a job and relax. I stopped applying for jobs, and when I went out to Phoenix to see my boyfriend, my boyfriend’s friend heard that I was looking for a job out here and he told me that his girlfriend had worked at this sushi restaurant for 7 years. The sushi restaurant happened to be right down the street from where he lives, so we went and picked up an application there. I returned the application later that day and was introduced to the manager there by our friend’s girlfriend that used to work there.

The manager told me to call her in the beginning of September because that’s when schools start, so people will be changing their schedules/leaving there. I made a visual board with pictures of the restaurant and sushi dishes they make there, and words to help me feel inspired. I went on the restaurant website frequently to look at the menu and employee uniform. To make myself feel it even more I made myself the uniform they wear there, black tank top with the restaurant logo on it, jeans, and black shoes. I took the restaurant number from the business card the manager gave me and saved the number in my phone with the managers name in it, as if she was already my manager. I also texted myself with the manager’s name and pretended like the manager was texting me and asking me to work more hours for her as if I already had the job. I even starting telling my friends that I got the job and I will be moving soon to start my new job there. Fast forward to a couple weeks later, I gave her a call in the beginning of September like she told me to and right there on the phone she told me that she will need me to work full time as a server at her sushi restaurant! I was so excited!!!

Everything has worked out just the way the Universe knows how. When I was able to let go and relax and not try and figure out everything on my own, I allowed myself to let the Universe in and let the Universe figure out the how. It was a magical experience how things were just coming to me when I wasn’t looking for it. Now I work at the sushi restaurant as a full time server in the Phoenix, Arizona area and I get to see my boyfriend every day. 🙂 I love sushi and get all the free sushi I want. I LOVE the work environment; it’s casual inside with music playing, open bar, and I make great money from my tips. Life is GREAT because that’s the way I chose and want it to be!
