I would like to thank Rhonda Byrne and all The Secret team for sharing this knowledge with us and God and the Universe for supporting and loving us so much! This is my second story and I do hope it gets published because my first one didn’t, even though it was an amazing story of how the Universe gave me my exact model and make of car I had on my vision board when I nearly settled for the make but not the model!

Anyway, this story is about my watch. It was my birthday and my eldest son asked me what I wanted as a present and I said I’d like a voucher for one of the top local jewelers in our area. He gave me a very generous voucher and a couple of weeks later I went to the store to find a watch. I found one immediately that I absolutely loved. The assistant came over and took the watch out of the cabinet but on measuring it on my wrist she said she wouldn’t be able to take out enough links for it to fit me. I have very thin wrists! I was gutted and picked a second one but again she said she wouldn’t be able to take enough links out, but I wasn’t bothered because I knew I’d be settling for second best. She said I’d have to get a watch with a leather strap or an elastic band where she could take out as many links as needed but I didn’t want or like any of them.

I walked around the jewelers looking at earrings and necklaces wondering what I could spend my voucher on. I walked out of the shop feeling so down but as I walked down the street I thought, no, I will get my watch. The next day at work I went on the jeweler’s’ website and printed out a picture of the watch I liked and as I looked at the picture I sent love to it and just knew I would get my watch somehow. My boyfriend said to forget it as no way would I be able to get the watch to fit me but I didn’t listen to him. I looked at the picture for a couple of days and then I got busy at work and forgot all about it.

About two weeks later my boyfriend and I were in town and I said I wanted to go back to the jewelers to have another look at watches, so off we went. I liked two others and asked the assistant if I could have a look at them but explained what had happened previously and as these watches had the same linked strap that she may not be able to take enough links out. She asked me to show her the watch I really liked and she said she’d be able to take enough links out or she would be able to send it away to be altered and she didn’t know why the assistant in the shop previously couldn’t do that. I was so excited but my boyfriend said not to get my hopes up as she hadn’t taken all the links out yet! About 15 minutes later I walked out of the shop wearing my new watch, grinning from ear to ear! My boyfriend said it was because I had my lucky charm with me that I got my watch (meaning him!) but I knew differently and I was, and still am, so very grateful to the Universe and God for giving me my beautiful watch.

Nothing is impossible and I am writing my story in the hope it will give others encouragement when they are feeling down. Just believe, really believe and trust and you will be rewarded beyond your wildest dreams!
