I thank all the people who post on this web site.

I have been out of work for about 7 months, but it was not like I was sitting at home. I visualized my internship with the UN by putting a picture of the UN emblem on my fridge and my acceptance letter, which I started doing in January. But when I joined, all the people around me where talking negatively since the UN mission I had joined was closing, but I felt like the only positive person who knew, like I knew, that I would get a Job before my Internship programme ended in August. This was not any job. It was an FS 4 Information Networks Assistant…. and BOOM there I am, now I am the new staff member.

It so happened that the candidate that I had competed with, finally rejected the position as he was not keen on relocating to Africa and I automatically got the Job offer letter in my mail. I almost passed out in my seat with excitement. I immediately told my family and friends the great news and I called my boyfriend and asked him to order the X-Trail that I had been visualizing.

Little did I know that I was actually drawing all things towards me. I knew every with every part of me that I was taking that job.

Guys, don’t be discouraged by any news…it’s up to you to make it happen with the thoughts you think and the way you feel!
