I first heard about The Secret while I was in seventh grade listening to these two girls chatting about how Jesus knew of this ‘Law of Attraction.’ I chuckled to myself while eavesdropping, thinking, “This is all baloney.” I threw the idea of getting the book out of my head, but curiously ended up buying it at the bookstore after hearing much about it.

Every single year, I’ve found a boy I’ve liked who has liked me back, but they never made a move. I felt sad, and determined that I was never going to get a boyfriend, destined to play cat and mouse forever.

At the end of last year, a cute boy switched into my class, and we flirted. He seemed to flirt with another girl at the same time, so I cast him away as well. At the beginning of this year, he started sitting with my group of friends more and more, which surprised me. As we began talking again, I felt feelings for him again, only this time I decided I WOULD make him mine. I started visualizing us holding hands, kissing, going on long walks, as well as his arm around me in the mornings.

Well, each day I felt us getting closer and closer, until he finally put his arm around me, just as I had visualized! I also kept repeating he would call me today, and he did call me today! I feel so loved. He is now my boyfriend, and I have to thank the Universe so much for sending him to me! I am so grateful, thank you Rhonda so very much!
