I can have anything I want
My life wasn’t going well, since I can remember. I moved to Canada when I was thirteen, and it was really hard to get used to the new surroundings and everyone, and family life wasn’t great either. I got kicked out of my house because I was rebellious and really just lost. And at eighteen, I found myself pregnant and living with the father of my son. At that time is when I first heard about The Secret.
I watched the DVD but I never knew exactly how much power The Secret had, so I never paid attention to it or did what it told me to do. And of course, the relationship with the father of my son didn’t work so I moved back to my mothers house. Once at my mothers house, I went back to school and achieved two certificates. Things were still not as I would have liked them to be, but getting better.
Funny enough a good friend I used to chat with around this time asked me a couple of months ago how I did it. Around this time, going to school and everything, I had told her about the kind of man I want in my life and how I want to work on my career and life goals, and a couple of months ago, she said, You have everything that you talked about, how did you do it? And it all clicked.
Either way, after school I moved out of my moms house and got a job. It wasnt paying much, but it paid for the bills. I decided to start taking small business classes with an organization, and everything was paid for by them, including child minding. There we were told about The Secret, but this time as soon as I got home, I got the DVD and started watching it, and this time I paid attention. I watched it every day, researched more about it and other exercises that would help remind me and live life better.
What I have accomplished now is too much to write about:
* I have supportive friends and family always
* A story about my work that I do now will be published in the local newspaper
* My second project is coming along well and due to launch in May 2011
* My third project is practically working out and unfolding on its own (all I did was put everything I want on a vision board and it is all just working out on its own)
* My life is a 1000 times better
* I have the man of my dreams
* And I am self-employed somehow and I can afford to pay for everything working for myself… somehow.
There are too many wonderful things happening in my life, and I am grateful. Writing this story actually made me realize even more how well everything is going. And thanks to everyone that wrote their inspiring stories, it helps me keep going each day. I have faith; the signs tell me that all is well.
Thanks to Rhonda and her team, God Bless you.
