I had been seeing this guy for almost a year. But for various reasons, we (actually he) could never think about getting married to each other.

My dad was about to come to see me that weekend because I had to meet some other guy for matrimony. But just a couple of days before that, I told my boyfriend that I genuinely wanted to marry him. And I told him that he could take some time to answer my question.

We did not talk for 2 days. The 3rd day, when I was walking down the platform at the metro station to meet my Dad, I was imagining and literally visualizing how great it would be if my Dad meets my boyfriend and his Dad for our marriage. It would be a family thing, genuine and official. Just like how formal meetings are between families for marriage. I would remain shy, not talk much, and most of the conversation would happen between my Dad, Badepapa (uncle, father’s elder brother) and his Dad.

I was almost receiving all of this while I was visualizing all of this.

The very next day, I’m not exaggerating at all, I got a call from Mohit, my boyfriend.

He told me that he’s spoken with his father about us, and his Dad wants to meet my Dad, soon!

This is what made me believe in The Secret. The way I had imagined it all, it all manifested into reality that very evening. In a quiet restaurant, the meeting happened. Mohit and his dad were sitting right in front of the table. This side of the table were my Dad, Badepapa, my Bua (aunt) and myself. Miracles do happen!! It was indeed a very good meeting.

The only thing that now I have been asking, believing and receiving these days is a call from him, and our marriage. Unfortunately, his Dad refused for our marriage due to astrological reasons. But, I strongly believe that the law of attraction will work here too, and he will call me soon. 🙂

I believe we will be a happily married couple in the near future!
