Several people had suggested that I should read The Secret. I had heard about the book and was curious, so while at the library on January 4th of 2008, I remembered and went to look for it. It was the only copy on the shelf so I checked it out and went home and started reading it. I wasn’t very far into the book before I realized that I got it, and knew that this was the answer for turning our lives around. The next day after I had finished the book I handed it to my husband and asked him to read it too… and he got it too!!! We have since bought our own copy and the video also.

We put it to the test immediately – creating parking spaces, small amounts of money, new bed, etc. We had been through some pretty tough years financially, and felt like our chances for owning our own home were impossible. Also, our 17 year old car was badly in need of being replaced. We decided to go to the hardware store and purchase 2 blank keys – one for a new home and one for a new car. We hung them on our key rack with the other keys where we would see them every day. And then we started the search for our new home and car, and every time we would take those keys with us.

To make a long story short: We purchased a one year old vehicle in May, and sold the old car for more than we expected to in 1 day. Just 3 weeks ago we closed and moved into a condo that we absolutely love.

Our lives have taken a complete turn around since we starting applying the Secret to our lives, and every day we feel so grateful that we finally “got it”.
