This is my third time writing a story here but it won’t be my last! Before I share, I just want to say thank you to all who have posted a story here, you inspire me daily! God bless you all! Thank you Rhonda for your books and movie, I have learned so much about the law of attraction, the law of love and gratitude.

Now for my story.

My favorite celebrity chef is Roble Ali, aka Chef Roble! I discovered him while watching his TV show on Bravo channel a few years ago. I was attracted to his culinary creativity and his sense of humor. Added bonus, he was an attractive fellow!

The latest season for his show started in June 2013. Of course, I watched every single episode when it aired! During each episode, I would think of how great it would be to meet him and I just kept telling myself that I am going to meet him one day. There was no doubt in my mind. At times, I would wonder if it would be when I return to New York which is where he is based. But, I spent most of my time just focusing on meeting him and having a good rapport with him. This visualization process would happen during each episode. At the end of each episode, I would let it go and get back to my life.

Back track to about 5 months before Chef Roble’s latest season, a good friend of mine, a local celebrity chef, and I had a phone conversation about a proposed event he was to be a part of where the organizers where toying with the idea of having a celebrity chef outside of Jamaica. I remember us talking about Chef Roble and how cool it would be if he came to Jamaica!

In the first week of October 2013, the opportunity came! I saw a flyer posted online of Chef Roble “Coming to Jamaica” at the end of October for an event put on by Kingston Kitchen! This was a different event from the one during the phone conversation. I immediately thought this was the law of attraction working in my favor. I was so grateful and kept thinking how God would position me at the right place and time to meet him when he was in Jamaica.

To top it all off, he was to be working alongside my friend, the local celebrity chef at the event. The night before the launch of the event, my friend messaged me saying he placed me on his guest list so I could meet Chef Roble! I just kept thinking wow, everything is just falling into place because I asked and believed! I was so grateful! I was also so excited. I don’t think I slept that night, lol.

At the night of the launch, I could not have been happier to meet Chef Roble in person! So much so that I had a few tongue-in-cheek moments while speaking to him, how embarrassing!

Regardless, I was on cloud nine. At one point during the event, my friend formally introduced me to Roble, but that was way after I had already introduced myself to him!

After the event, my friend was having an after-party dinner at his restaurant, which was a 5 minutes drive from Roble’s hotel where the launch was held. So not only did I get to meet Roble, I had dinner with him!!! The night kept getting better!

It doesn’t end there! After the dinner, Roble and his friends needed a ride back to his hotel and guess who had the opportunity of giving him a ride? I did! Chef Roble drove in my car!

On a side note, I had taken my car to the car wash the day before, after weeks of having no time to get it cleaned. I was literally driving past the car wash and said, let me get this car cleaned, it’s time. I had no idea he would have been driving in my car but God had planned it and so it happened! God is truly amazing! This was even before I knew I would have been at the launch.

Looking back at it now, I realized how my visualizations and affirmations were so powerful that I attracted him to Jamaica! Yes, I knew I would meet him but I most likely thought it would be in the US in New York. I am truly amazed by the power of my thoughts! That is the message I want to leave with you today:

Good thoughts become things quickly when there is no doubt in sight.

Whether you are trying to attract a special someone, a job, money, a home, friendships or health, remember to see yourself having what you desire but never obsess over having it. Once you are obsessing, you are out of sync with what you desire. Obsession is not manifestation for when you obsess, you are restless. When you are restless, you are not at peace. When you are not at peace, you are not grateful and when you are not grateful, you cannot attract what you want!

Finally, always focus on the end result, don’t worry about how it will come to you. That’s for God and the Universe.
