I always believed there was something out there that was allowing amazing things to happen in this world. I named this “power” the Stars. I used to thank the Stars or ask the Stars for something (much like other people would ask god for something). When I watched The Secret about a year ago I was ecstatic to discover that the universe really was my higher power!

I know deep in my soul that I will lead an extraordinary life. Traveling and seeing the world has been the greatest desire of mine since I can remember, so once I learned the power of visualization I have constantly been visualizing myself enjoying life in different countries around the world – laughing and loving in Africa, eating and playing in Italy, praying and meditating in Thailand, etc. I began by cutting out pictures and words from magazines that represented what I wanted and where I wanted to go. I printed out a picture of a map of the world and placed stickers on the places *I will be going to*.

I am still in college, which would usually restrict you from your travels, but not with the power of The Secret!! In January I will be leaving on a voyage around the world with Semester at Sea to 12 different countries in a matter of 100 days! I am so grateful for everything that has brought me to this point in my life, and it is just the beginning!
